So what is Katarizo, anyway?
Katarizo is a webcomic about anthros in Atlantis. The whole legend of the city's demise was
fabricated, so the creatures could live in peace. Nobody is allowed to travel freely to other
countries, though there are rebels.
The story in Katarizo takes place in a sub-division called Hat'irr. It's mostly jungle, but there
is a small town in the center of it. Most of the shops in the marketplace have shut down, or
moved to the city. It mostly has to do with law. There really isn't good security in the town,
and thieves thrive in this area.
The main character in the story is Vincent Katarizo. He founded an organized group that
dwells deep in the dense jungle. They call their hideout simply the "Den", and are Hat'irr's
prime enemy. Vincent's only rule of joining the Den, is that nobody is harmed during a
heist, and it is a rule he enforces strictly. Despite this, there are still the cause of many
shops going out of business.
However, due to his targets dwindling, Vincent has recently taken up a deal with Celia.
Celia is a long-time con, and convinces Vin that if he works for her, there will be a reward
involved. Believing this, Vin goes out of his way to steal bigger & better things. Everywhere
from pirate ships, to catacombs, to the great city of Atlantis itself. Vincent battles creatures
of all sizes and forms, and meets some very interesting people on the way.
As Vincent & his crew go out on these death-defying adventures, Celia gets to know them
better, and starts to have a change of heart.
